ABOUT
Santa Fe Junior Golf is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the youth in and around Santa Fe, New Mexico grow in the game of golf. With a combined experience of over 100 years our goal is to help create scholarships for the youth in need through athletics. From private instruction to group lessons our professionals are dedicated to helping juniors excel throughout their career as a young adult. Through the past years Santa Fe Junior Golf has helped influence the youth of New Mexico by teaching values that are co existent with life and the game itself. We continuously offer our support to the youth of New Mexico and hope by helping them advance in the game of golf we can lay a foundation for the rest of their lives.
SERVICES

One-on-one Instruction
With a private practice area. We can accommodate anyone interested in private lessons. Although one of our main beliefs is that golf is played inside 100yards. We specialize in everything from short game to course management our PGA instructors are well educated in every area of the game.

Group Lessons
Group lessons are a great way for golfers to get out and meet other players at their own skill level. We offer group lessons for all skill types from beginner to advanced.

State of the Art
TrackMan Simulator
We offer lessons, fitting and regular practice time at our state of the art golf studio. With the number one piece of equipment that all the leaders of the game use. Santa Fe Junior Golf Scramble
Santa Fe Junior Golf held its first annual fundraiser tournament on October 2nd. With the help of our board members and sponsors, together we raised over thirteen thousand dollars! With the continued support from our sponsors and the staff at Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe we plan to grow Santa Fe Junior Golf throughout the upcoming years. Thank you so much to our title sponsors, Gruda Veterinary Hospital, Zamora Accounting, Michael Gallegos DDS, Jinja, MedinaZ Septic, and New Mexico Bank & Trust for making it a successful year. We have a lot planned for next season and we are looking forward to a great new year!
2022 Spring Golf Clinic

Santa Fe Junior golf is excited to announce our 2022 spring break golf camp March 14th-18th. Ages 6-17 are welcome. The clinics are 3 hours long each and include lunch daily. Our PGA instructors are tremendously knowledgeable in the game of golf and are focused on making learning golf FUN! INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHYS
DON SYMINGTON

Don Symington, graduated from Princeton University in 1967. He joined the US Navy, became a pilot, and flew the F4 Phantom aboard USS Midway in combat over Vietnam for two consecutive years: 1971, 72 and was there when the war ended in April 1973. His love of golf motivated him to become a member of the PGA in 1996. He specializes in teaching juniors: fundamentals and the joy of playing golf. Particular emphasis is exposing young people to the human values: honesty, integrity, self esteem, perseverance and the many others playing the game provides. He joined Marty Sanchez in 2002 and soon became the instructor of the intermediate program. He formed 501(c)(3) Santa Fe Junior Golf to promote junior golf in Santa Fe. This tax exempt organization is a wonderful opportunity for the community to support junior golf and young peoples' exposure to the game.
JULIO 'ALO' BRODSKY

A native of Santa Fe, NM, Alo has been the PGA Head Golf Professional at Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe golf course since 2014 and has been teaching golfers of all skill levels since 2010. At a young age, Alo was introduced to the game of golf by his father who was a local golfer and artist. Alo has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Fort Lewis College and has his Class A-1 PGA Accreditation. Since his time at Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe, Alo has helped grow the golf operations through his dedication and knowledge from his twenty plus years involvement in Santa Fe’s golf community. When Alo is not at the golf course he enjoys other outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
LORENZO VIGIL

Lorenzo Vigil, a native of Santa Fe, NM, and a lover of the game of golf since a young age, is the 1st Assistant Golf Professional at Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe. Currently a B-8 PGA associate, he attended the University of New Mexico and the Golf Academy of America in Phoenix Arizona where he studied golf operations and management for 2 years. In 2013, he started teaching junior golf with The First Tee program in Phoenix. Since then, he has been dedicated to teaching junior athletes the game of golf. In 2015 he started working with the Little Linksters junior golf program at Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe. In 2017 he developed the first Marty Sanchez junior golf youth league which has now become part of Santa Fe Junior Golf. He plans to grow the game of golf and make it enjoyable for everyone. When Lorenzo is not playing golf, he enjoys eating New Mexico cuisine, a good movie and spending time outdoors with his amazing daughter Mia and beautiful fiancé Sarah.
JOSEPH IRWIN

Born and raised in Santa Fe, Joseph Irwin began his golfing career in 2014. An apprentice with the PGA of America, Joseph has become an accomplished teacher and player. His dedication and love of the game has led him to spend countless hours helping others improve. Joseph works as an instructor for Little Linksters Youth Summer Golf Camp program. He also teaches the Marty Sanchez Youth League, as well as weekly private and group lessons.
BRANDON T PINARD

Brandon T. Pinard (BP) is the newest staff member at Marty Sanchez Links de Santa Fe. BP migrated to New Mexico from Hawaii and is a native of San Luis Obispo, California. BP took up the game of golf in middle school and played 4 years of Varsity Golf in High School. He went on to attend California State University, Chico. During his studies, he played on the Men’s Collegiate Golf team (2002-2004) and earned degrees in Archaeology and Media Design. BP has remained an active competitive golfer over the years and competed in many tournaments. Recently, BP joined the PGA associate mentorship program and is on his way to becoming a PGA professional. Over the last year, he has volunteered his media and instructional services to the Santa Fe Junior Golf Association by creating videos and the newest website for the non-profit organization. BP enjoys playing golf as much as possible, working out, taking pictures, and spending time on adventures with his wife, Amber, and their four dogs, Bella, Tango, Jake & Dayvie-Bear. BP is looking forward to help co-create the future of the game of golf with his fellow PGA associates and golfers as he strives to be a great instructor, professional golfer and mentor to others who share his love for the game.
