Don Symington, graduated from Princeton University in 1967. He joined the US Navy, became a pilot, and flew the F4 Phantom aboard USS Midway in combat over Vietnam for two consecutive years: 1971, 72 and was there when the war ended in April 1973. His love of golf motivated him to become a member of the PGA in 1996. He specializes in teaching juniors: fundamentals and the joy of playing golf. Particular emphasis is exposing young people to the human values: honesty, integrity, self esteem, perseverance and the many others playing the game provides. He joined Marty Sanchez in 2002 and soon became the instructor of the intermediate program. He formed 501(c)(3) Santa Fe Junior Golf to promote junior golf in Santa Fe. This tax exempt organization is a wonderful opportunity for the community to support junior golf and young peoples' exposure to the game.
